For the past 20 years, Jay Zises has served as Chairman of A Cap, Inc., an investment management firm based in New York. A Cap, Inc., gives high-net-worth individuals the opportunity to invest in young entrepreneurs’ companies, including sporting news organization Small World Media and educational company MaMaMedia Inc. Additionally, A Cap, Inc., has invested in legal financing institution LawCash and UniRush, LLC. Under the direction of Jay Zises, the company also oversaw the hedge fund of Associated Capital LP.
Prior to his current role at A Cap, Inc., Jay Zises functioned as Chairman of the Executive Committee at Integrated Resources between 1969 and 1989. In this position, he contributed to the creation of the firm’s innovative life insurance products and variable annuities.
A lifelong New Yorker, Jay Zises attended New York University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History. In his free time, Jay Zises leads a nationwide political action committee and helps out at the soup kitchen of The Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest. He also supports a number of charities, including HELP USA (Housing Enterprise for the Less Privileged) and the Development Corporation for Israel/State of Israel Bonds and Helping Hands.
